There is a sense of the liminal in this unique location situated between rolling rural hills & the river-mouth spilling into the coastline. The planting is responsive to this duality, hardy and spare when framing the expanse of both the land and sea beyond. In the middle of all this openness exists an almost surreal tropical courtyard – surrounding a sheltered pool – with occasional glimpses through palms of the vast & sometimes wild ocean.
