Michael has spent over 18 years working in the landscaping arena.

In 2001 Michael returned to New Zealand from working as a residential garden designer in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and Plantation was born.

Since then Michael has quickly become a household name in NZ through his role as the landscape designer on the television series Back to Basics (TVNZ 2004) and Mucking In (TVNZ 2005). As well as his strong client base in Taranaki he works all over the country designing gardens, many of which can be seen in Home and Garden publications <link to Press page here>.
